Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (6–8 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps seasoning stick and promotes browning.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, oregano, paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder to form a paste.
  3. Rub the paste evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 370°F (185°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Place chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer. Do not overlap.
  6. Air fry for 10 minutes. Flip with tongs.
  7. Cook for another 4–8 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove and tent with foil. Rest 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Notes

For thicker breasts, pound them to even thickness before cooking. Use your favorite seasoning blends like taco, Cajun, or BBQ rub. Always use a meat thermometer to prevent overcooking and dry results.
