Method
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps seasoning stick and promotes browning.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, oregano, paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder to form a paste.
- Rub the paste evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.
- Preheat air fryer to 370°F (185°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Place chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer. Do not overlap.
- Air fry for 10 minutes. Flip with tongs.
- Cook for another 4–8 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove and tent with foil. Rest 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Notes
For thicker breasts, pound them to even thickness before cooking. Use your favorite seasoning blends like taco, Cajun, or BBQ rub. Always use a meat thermometer to prevent overcooking and dry results.
