Pudding Base

  • 3 cups whole milk cold
  • 3 cups whipped topping store-bought or homemade whipped cream

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding and cold milk, then let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes until soft-set.
Assembly
  1. Gently fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture and set it aside.
  2. Crush the chocolate wafers into coarse crumbs using a food processor or by hand in a sealable plastic bag.
  3. Layer the chocolate pudding mixture and crushed chocolate wafers in serving bowls or glasses, ensuring the top layer is wafers. Decorate with gummy worms, candy bones, and candy mummy hands, then serve.

Notes

For an extra spooky touch, consider adding a few drops of green food coloring to the whipped topping before folding it into the pudding mixture.
