Ingredients

  • 16 oz Top Sirloin Filet, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tbsp butter
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder (for garlic butter)
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 tsp parsley flakes

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Tongs
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl for melting butter

Method

  1. Pat steak pieces dry with paper towels. Cut into 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, toss steak cubes with olive oil. Mix brown sugar, salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Sprinkle over steak and toss to coat.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  4. Place seasoned steak bites in a single layer in air fryer basket. Air fry for 4–6 minutes, shaking halfway through. Cook to your preferred doneness.
  5. While steak cooks, melt butter and stir in garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and parsley.
  6. Transfer hot steak bites to a bowl. Pour garlic butter over and toss to coat. Serve warm.

Notes

Swap top sirloin with ribeye, New York strip, or flank steak. Avocado oil or grapeseed oil work in place of olive oil. For a fresh twist, use chopped fresh parsley instead of dried. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket — cook in batches if needed.
