Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup filtered water (240 ml)
  • 1 tsp loose-leaf sencha green tea
  • ½ inch fresh ginger (finely grated)
  • 1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tsp raw, unfiltered apple-cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp raw honey or liquid stevia drops (or 4–5 liquid stevia drops, to taste)
  • 1 pinch pink sea salt (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat water to approximately 175°F (80°C), just before it boils.
  2. Place the green tea and grated ginger into a strainer and position it over a mug.
  3. Pour the hot water through the strainer and allow it to steep for exactly 3 minutes.
  4. Remove the strainer, then stir in the lemon juice and apple cider vinegar.
  5. Sweeten with honey or stevia, swirling until dissolved; taste and add a pinch of sea salt if desired to balance acidity.
  6. Garnish with a lemon wheel and ginger coin, then sip warm or cool and serve over ice.

Notes

This tea can be enjoyed warm or cooled and served over ice. Adjust sweetness and salt to your personal taste preferences.
