Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and grease a loaf pan.
- In a high-speed blender or food processor, blend all ingredients until a smooth batter forms, then fold in the chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a skewer inserted comes out mostly clean.
- Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For the sweetest and most flavorful bread, ensure your bananas are very ripe with plenty of brown spots. This banana bread stores well at room temperature for a few days or can be frozen in individual slices for convenient grab-and-go options.
