Ingredients

  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 4 cups milk (whole or 2%)
  • 16 oz white chocolate chips
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • green food coloring (gel preferred)
  • yellow food coloring (optional, for balance)
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, mini marshmallows, red candy hearts, sprinkles

Equipment

  • Slow cooker (4-quart or larger) For gentle, even heating.
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons For accurate ingredient prep.
  • Whisk or sturdy spoon To mix and stir while cooking.
  • Serving mugs For festive presentation.

Method

  1. Add the heavy cream, milk, white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract to your slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  2. Set the slow cooker to LOW and cook for 2–3 hours, stirring every 20–30 minutes to prevent scorching and ensure even melting.
  3. Once fully melted and smooth, stir in a few drops of green food coloring. Add yellow food coloring drop by drop as needed to brighten the shade to Grinch green.
  4. Turn the slow cooker to WARM to keep the drink hot for up to 3 hours. Serve with whipped cream, marshmallows, sprinkles, or a red heart.

Notes

Use gel food coloring for a rich Grinch green hue. Stir frequently while heating to prevent the white chocolate from burning. For a dairy-free version, substitute plant-based milk and chocolate.
