Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a large baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss them until each piece is thoroughly coated with the herb and garlic mixture.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer in the prepared baking dish, ensuring not to overcrowd.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden and crispy.
- Once baked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Optionally, garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, pat the chicken thighs very dry with paper towels before seasoning.
