  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 bag holiday M&M’s 10-ounce bag
  • Christmas sprinkles optional

  • Wire cooling rack
  • Microwave
  • Spatula

Method

Preparation
  1. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or foil and set it aside.
  2. Pop the popcorn according to package directions, then remove any un-popped kernels; alternatively, use purchased pre-popped popcorn.
  3. Pour the holiday M&M’s on top of the popcorn.
  4. Combine chocolate melts with oil and melt them in the microwave in 15-second bursts, stirring until completely smooth; then pour over popcorn and M&M’s and stir until well combined.
  5. Pour the coated popcorn onto the prepared baking sheet, spread in an even layer, add sprinkles on top, and let it set at room temperature.
  6. Gently break the set popcorn into pieces and enjoy.

Notes

Ensure the white chocolate is completely smooth before pouring for the best coating results. You can also refrigerate the popcorn briefly to speed up the setting process.
