- In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes to create the glaze.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then cook skin-side up for about 2 minutes until seared.
- Flip the salmon skin-side down, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the honey mixture and lemon slices, then baste the salmon while cooking for about 3 more minutes until the sauce reduces by one-third.
Notes
Ensure salmon is patted dry for a crispier sear. Be careful not to overcook the salmon to keep it moist and flaky. Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
