Method
- Peel sweet potatoes and cut them into ½-inch cubes for even cooking.
- In a mixing bowl, toss sweet potato cubes with olive oil, harissa or paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Add seasoned sweet potatoes to air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding. Cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through cooking (after 5 minutes) to flip the cubes.
- After 10 minutes, check for golden brown crispness. If needed, cook for 1–2 more minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispy sweet potatoes, cook in a single layer and add 1–2 more minutes as needed. You can substitute olive oil with avocado or coconut oil. Harissa adds heat—use smoked paprika for a milder flavor.
