  • 6 slices white bread toasted and cut into cubes

Instructions
  1. Grease a 9x13 baking dish and set it aside.
  2. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine salt, eggs, and half and half; then stir in the cooked sausage, bread cubes, and cheese until evenly coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, cover with foil, and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the covered casserole for 50-60 minutes.
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F, uncover the casserole, and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes until set.

Notes

This casserole is perfect for meal prepping ahead of time, as it requires at least 2 hours of chilling, or can be prepared overnight for a stress-free morning.
