Method
- Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
- Place two slices of bread butter-side down. Layer cheeses evenly, then top with remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
- Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (185°C) for 3–4 minutes.
- Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Use a toothpick if needed to secure the top bread slice.
- Air fry for 3–4 minutes. Then flip carefully and cook for another 3–4 minutes until both sides are golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove and let cool slightly. Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
Preheating your air fryer and using softened butter are key to getting that crispy, golden crust. Don’t overcrowd the basket — cook sandwiches in batches if needed.
