Ingredients

  • 24 oz gold potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 1 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Paper Towels

Method

  1. Wash potatoes thoroughly, slice into uniform wedges, and pat completely dry with paper towels.
  2. Place potato wedges in a large bowl and toss with half of the olive oil.
  3. Arrange wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  4. Transfer potatoes back to the bowl, drizzle with remaining olive oil, add ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper, and toss well.
  5. Return wedges to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5–8 minutes until golden and crispy.

Notes

Russet, Gold, or Yukon Gold potatoes work best for wedges. Be sure to dry potatoes thoroughly for maximum crispiness. Olive oil can be swapped with avocado or vegetable oil, and seasonings can be customized beyond ranch.
