Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until just mixed.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties about 1/2 inch thick. Make a small indent in the center of each patty.
- Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 6 minutes.
- Flip the patties carefully and continue cooking for 3 more minutes.
- Add a slice of cheese to each patty during the last minute of cooking, if desired.
- Remove patties from the air fryer and let rest for 2–3 minutes.
- Assemble burgers with buns, toppings, and condiments. Serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, use 80/20 ground beef to maintain juiciness. Avoid overmixing the meat, as this can make burgers dense. You can swap cheeses, use gluten-free buns, or serve in lettuce wraps if desired.
